Forest’s new look is both modern and comforting, something that is carried over into Chef Nick’s interpretation of the Italian and French cuisines he has grown up with.

Forest recently reopened with Chef Nick Janutol as our Executive Chef. Nick hails from Detroit originally, but spent his relative “culinary youth” in New York at the Culinary Institute of America, and then in the kitchen of 11 Madison Park.

Nick spent the last two years here in Birmingham, from his previous L2O in Chicago, and now is putting down roots back in his home town. We are thrilled to have Nick in the Forest kitchen!
